Panels for the high tension supply, the low tension board, and the power factor of the whole building.

High tension switchgear

Built to IEC, BS, VDE, DIN, and ANSI, with a minimum oil circuit breaker, a vacuum circuit breaker, or a load breaking switch. Each panel is coordinated for lightning and switching transients.

Sheet steel boards of at least 16 SWG on welded angle frames, finished for tropical sites. Potential and current transformers, earthing switches, and the main unit come from America, Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Japan, and Taiwan, or as the customer specifies.

Low tension switchgear

Circuit breakers, a hard-drawn electrolytic copper busbar, meters, selector switches, and indicating lamps, enclosed in a panel built for the mechanical and thermal stress of the current.

Live parts keep at least 0.75 mm² of cross section and run in plastic conduit. Cables enter through a slit and a removable gland plate.

Automatic power factor improvement panel

IEC 439-2 · 6 or 12 steps

Power factor improvement plant

Sheet-steel clad, dust and vermin proof, free-standing for indoor floors. The automatic plant switches its capacitor steps so reactive power stays under control.

Correction relays hold the power factor near 0.98 through every load change, read out on a digital meter with step indicators and on/off switches.

Transformers

Distribution transformers up to 5000 kVA, with the factory extending toward 10000 kVA. Built for BPDB, DPDC, DESCO, and REB.

Oil-immersed distribution transformer with cooling fans

Dry and oil-immersed instrument transformers, pole-type units for rural electrification, isolation, furnace, auto, and buck-boost transformers. Each one rated to the customer’s duty.

Core

High-permeability cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel, 0.23 to 0.27 mm, insulated on both sides, clamped to keep iron loss and magnetizing current low.

Windings

Electrolytic copper or pin-hole-free enamel wire. Oil ducts run through both windings, designed to the insulation level and the short-circuit duty.

Tank and oil

Welded mild steel, pressure tested at 5 kg/cm², primed twice and finished in weather-resistant enamel. Moisture-free mineral oil to IEC 296 and BS 148, ONAN cooled.

Tests

IEC 76 and BS 171 before dispatch: ratio, polarity, resistance, insulation, high-tension and induced-voltage withstand, iron and copper loss, impedance, vector group, and oil strength.

Every manufactured unit is covered against design, workmanship, and material defects from dispatch.

Each transformer carries a full manufacturing warranty.
